Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor who is well known for his part in the show on television 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. The first time he became interested in acting was during his college years. He pursued acting classes at University of Colorado at Boulder. He's been featured in the television and film industry, but the small screen characters which earned him fame and an enormous fan base. His ability to portray characters that are both law enforcement and criminal has attracted the attention of viewers. He was the voice of a serial killer in his debut television show but later went on to perform the role as an NYPD detective. He's been nominated numerous times for the prestigious Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards in recognition of his small-screen acting performances. Eyes that are piercing blue on his face are thought to be the best element. Also, they are regarded as a trademark, and they have been credited with helping him portray characters who were rough but empathetic. In 2006, he appeared in the People's publication's Sexiest Men Alive list.
